Practicing the Letter त (ta)

The last two words contain conjunct letters that involve त (ta). The first conjunct, स्त (st), is simply a combination of the letters स (sa) and त (ta). Likewise त्म (tm) is a combination of the letters, त (ta) and म (ma).

In both of these cases, the formation of the conjunct is straightforward: the first letter's vertical bar is removed, and the remaining letter is joined to the second letter. The conjunct they form has no a sound between the consonant sounds made by the original letters.
