December 1999

On 16 December 1999 the members of the Open eBook Authoring Group met in San Francisco, California, USA to form the Open eBook Forum (OEBF). My company, GlobalMentor, Inc., was one of the founding members of the Forum. Click on each photo to see a larger, more detailed version.

The OEBF meeting was held at the lovely Hotel Monaco in downtown San Francisco. What great weather in December. What a beautiful city. Wouldn't it be nice to visit more often?
